Polar Express - I have... Who Has with Dolch Phrases

This is just a little activity I made for our Polar Express Day! Just a simple I have... Who has... Game! Pick a student to start they red the card. (I have the dog ran who has mother may I) So then the person with that phrase is the next to go. You keep going until you get back to the phrase you started with. This can be done in small groups or whole group.

Elf on the Shelf Fun!!

I have an Elf on the Shelf this year and I have to say I'm having as much fun as the kids are!

One day our Elf brought the class little mini elf donuts! (I think he used cheerios)

He also made snowmen out of marshmallows!

 Then another day he drew mustaches on my kid's lunch cards! The office loved this too!

 I guess our Elf was hungry because we found him fishing!

Our Elf talked snoopy into roasting some marshmallows Thursday!

Then Friday he came back with a friend!

 

New week with our elf!
This week he turned all my kids lunch cards upside down.

Tuesday our elf made some poor choices and did some "elf graffiti" I think he knew he was in trouble!

Wednesday Marshmallow the elf was found in our gumball machine.

Thursday our naughty elf tied all the kids P.E. shoes together!!

Race to the Gift: Subtraction Game

It’s time for the Holidays!! The kiddos place one marker in front of each number and take turns solving subtraction problems with two dice. I use the dice in dice you can find at a teacher store. You can use anything for a marker…  I bought some little holiday erasers from the dollar bins at Target. The marker next to the answer for the math problem is moved forward one space. The goal is to get all the markers to the finish line. Students can even make predictions and guess which number will be the winner!
